Step into PT is a fully cash pay business, meaning that we do not accept insurance for treatment coverage. We do have the option of providing you a superbill upon request so that your insurance can reimburse you. For further information on this option, you will need to contact your insurance to see how much they are willing to reimburse you. Their reimbursement will go directly to you after you pay for your treatment.

Step into PT is cash pay as it allows us to treat you without the arbitrary limitations that insurance companies place on providers. We are able to give you more time, attention, and whole body treatment to give you overall better care.
In most outpatient settings, you are likely to be double or triple booked with other patients due to the low reimbursements that insurance companies provide to PTs who accept their coverage. Without that concern overhead, you can have your provider’s full focus and never have to feel that your PT is unable to give you the attention you need.

Please see the map for reference.
Any address within 20 minutes (red zone) is included in the base treatment cost. Zones beyond that will have an additional fee added onto your total to account for your PT’s travel time.
Purple zone will have a $15 travel fee. Blue zone will have a $30 travel fee.
If the travel time to get to you is impacted by traffic, you will be limited in what times are available for treatment to avoid periods of high traffic.
Please provide your address when inquiring about treatment so that we can give you an accurate cost.

Not at this time. Step into PT focuses on mobile, concierge service that allows us to treat you in the environment that you are most likely to actually be practicing in.
We can come to your home, work with you inside or outside in the sun, or meet you at your choice of gym if they are agreeable to outside training (written approval is needed and entry cost will need to be covered).

Your first visit is primarily focused on learning what needs to be focused on, figuring out our plan for how we can make sure you achieve your goals, and starting treatment. We will discuss your problem areas, limitations, and goals and answer any questions about next steps. We will also perform an examination of relevant body systems.
If you are a pelvic health client, there is an option of doing an internal exam to check for pain and overall function of pelvic floor muscles. Your PT will go over this in detail with you, and you always have the option to turn this down if you are uncomfortable.
It is encouraged to find a quiet space in your house for your first session so that you can get the most out of your time with your PT.
If there is time, your PT will leave you with a starting list of exercises to try before your next treatment to see how your body responds and get you on the path to healing.

You will want to wear clothes that you are comfortable in and can move around easily in. We do not recommend clothing such as tight skirts, jeans, or flip flops that might limit your ability to participate.

Yes! Just like anything else important, the amount of success that you see through treatment lies largely with you. Your PT will give you guided, personalized exercises that target your areas of weakness and get you closer to your goals. The more committed you are, the better results you are likely to see!
